RESUMÉ
Lawrence Williams is a qualified and experienced mining engineer who has specialised in underground mining and tunnelling from graduation. He has worked in underground mines in four different countries and became involved in civil tunnelling as long ago as 1970. He has experience working for mine operators and for a manufacturing/sales company and most recently has spent the past 35 years working in technical publishing for a company specialising in coverage of mining, tunnelling and drilling worldwide. He has travelled extensively in conjunction with his work and has an enormous range of contacts within the mining and tunnelling sectors in particular. In 2003 he set up Mincon TPR which specialises in marketing services for the mining and tunnelling sectors, including press releases, technical articles, newsletter and magazine publication. In what spare time he has he also edits and published a glossy quarterly ‘lifestyle’ magazine for residents of London’s Barbican (Barbican Life Magazine – www.barbicanlife.com) where he has an apartment. |
